Dating as we know it has only been around since the beginning of the 20th century. This means the act of seeking out a partner and choosing one is relatively new and humans are still learning and adapting. Dating is confusing and challenging because most people have a ton of preconceived ideas about the process and themselves that aren't serving them.

My mission is to help you create a loving relationship. What I have found is that dating is a skill, a practice, something you have to learn about and implement. Just like any sport, job, or role. Especially in the modern dating world, where the majority of couples are meeting through dating apps, we need to be able to leverage these tools and use them to our benefit.

So many things in life are not taught or discussed at length and it feels like there is some ambiguous school out there where people are learning from, but in reality that doesn't exist. Dating and Relationships are very much in this scene where most people haphazardly throw themselves out there hoping something is going to stick.

Date Coaching is your opportunity to prevent the heartache, frustration, and exhaustion because you will know what you are doing, learn about yourself, and develop the skills and strategies to avoid the trial and error method. 

Unlike many other coaches, I am a licensed therapist with scientific knowledge of dating psychology. I have a wealth of experience counseling both couples and individuals which gives me unique insight into the psychology of dating and relationships and how people make critical errors in the realm of love. On top of that, I was in the dating scene for years and years and have been through it all. I know the struggle and I know the pain.

All of my work, thought, content, and coaching is from a deep understanding of people through my clinical work and training as a therapist, researching the heck out of dating and relationships, and personal experience. The skills and strategies you will learn from me are from the most evidence-based and cutting edge relationship research and experts.

In my one-on-one coaching, I will enter your world, get to know you, and provide an environment of safety, trust, and compassion. I have done this professionally for over five years in a clinical setting and coaching will be no different.

Glad you asked! There is a big difference: therapy is diagnosing and treating mental health disorders. Coaching is helping and mentoring you into achieving a goal. In therapy, the focus is on diminishing symptoms of a psychiatric disorder such as depression, addiction, anxiety, etc. Therapy leans more into family of origin, specific treatment modalities, and is directed through a medical lens. Coaching uses a more self-improvement and self-development lens. Coaching is more future-oriented and focused on guidance, accountability, and working together toward a destination without getting into the depths of childhood, psychopathologies, trauma.

Therapy often focuses on looking backwards, while coaching is looks forward. In coaching, we will review your previous dating and relationship experiences, but we will focus on your goals and helping you get into the relationship of your dreams.

Of course I think it is! Dating today is a huge struggle for a lot of people. It can be tiresome, frustrating, and exhausting. Showing up solo to events time and again, watching friends and family get engaged, married, etc. can be painful and difficult.

Why not invest in yourself and make it happen to end the burnout? You will learn things about dating, about communication, and about yourself that I believe will be absolutely invaluable.

Whether you are just starting out in your dating journey, have been previously married, or are somewhere in between, our services are a good fit. Our one-on-one coaching will be customized and designed specifically for you and where you are. Our content, courses, and programs are likewise appropriate for all experience levels and ages. 

If you are older in age, you may need a little more focus and hands-on work on how to best use dating apps and messaging. If you are just starting out, it may be best to focus on building confidence and getting in date shape.

This is totally understandable and very normal! So many people feel anxious about the process, especially if they have been out of dating for a while. In coaching, we will work to help you learn and gain confidence. The truth is, we are hardly every actually ready for anything and if we keep waiting until we are, then it will never happen. We will work through these issues in date coaching.

While we stand behind our services and put our heart and soul into them, anyone who guarantees that you will get in your dream relationship in a specific period of time is likely not being truthful.

You are the one who is going to make things actually happen for yourself, and we are here to guide, assist, prepare, and put you in the best position. Your success in dating is going to come down to how open you are to the process and who much effort you are willing to put into it.
